Nick Tolley is a UK-born artist brought up in the historic cathedral city of Worcester, surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Malverns and the medieval city of Worcester. Nick started drawing from a young age and nurtured his love of drawing as he grew up continuing to draw anything asked of or anything that caught his eye. Throughout his life Nick has drawn for pleasure and for commissions, recently moving into painting in acrylics, although his true love remains with pencil. After visiting Canada in 2004/5 Nick fell in love with the country and began the process of immigration. In early 2008 Nick moved to Burlington, Ontario in Canada. After a brief spell in Burlington Nick now resides in the idylic town of Oakville. If you are interested in a commission please contact Nick to discuss further. Meath Conlan, Ph.D.
Meath Conlan is the founder of Diverse Journeys. He creates and offers workshops, seminars and retreats for groups and counselling for individuals without discrimination as to age, ethnicity, religion, or orientation.
Meath is a Counsellor and spiritual director in private practice, with specialist experience in multi-cultural and inter-religious dialogue: specifically, in the late 1980's he delivered series of lectures on Western spirituality to Buddhist monastics across the Himalayas at the invitation of H. H. the XIVth Dalai Lama. Previous to that, during the late 1970's Meath worked in the People's Republic of China in an effort to build bridges of understanding between the Holy See and China's religious traditions.
A published author, Meath earned his Masters Degree at Fordham University in New York, and his Doctorate in Philosophy after reading education and social sciences at the University of South Australia.
Meath's professional experience in adult education, ethics, counselling and spiritual direction spans thirty years. He is Australian Vice President of the Bede Griffiths Trust, a member of Spiritual Directors International, a member of the Australian Network of Spiritual Directors and a member of the International Institute of Alternative Therapies (Counselling). Meath also holds the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
Meath delivers retreats and seminars in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and the United States. He continues to offer spiritual journeys through small-group travel to destinations of cultural diversity and spiritual richness.
